get to know me

Ever since I was a young girl, I always knew I wanted to be a nurse. In 2017, I applied to my dream school at the University of Missouri and was accepted into the accelerated BSN program. During my time in the program, I found out I was pregnant with my, now three year old, daughter. As soon as I saw that little pink line on the test, I knew my lifestyle had to change. Clearly partying and drinking alcohol was now out of the question, but there was more than that that had to change.
I began to question everything-- the food and drinks I consumed, the air I breathed, and the medications I was prescribed. I started researching, reading, and educating myself about how to live a truly healthy life. It was slightly conflicting learning how to live a truly healthy life in my spare time, while learning about sick care in school. I started to realize that living a holistic lifestyle was the "right" side of health care, because the symptoms

I used to suffer with (excess bloating, stomach pain, cramping, migraines, fatigue, etc.) were no longer a problem. I was able to stop my prescribed medications and let go of the fear that someday I would be just another patient in a hospital bed. I knew that I still wanted to be a nurse, but just didn't know how to get on the "right" side of health care.

I worked in the hospital setting (as a tech and nurse) for over six years. I witnessed the side of "health" care that no one should have to experience. I held the hands of those who were dying alone. I brushed the teeth of those who were suddenly paralyzed and could no longer use their arms. I hugged family members as they said their last goodbye to their loved one.

In 2022, I walked away from bedside nursing to dive deeper into true health care--the type of care that acknowledges that the choices we make determine our health outcomes. I completed my certification as a holistic health practitioner through Trinity School of Natural Health and became educated in root cause blood work through Mastering Blood Chemistry with Emily (MBCE).

I officially opened my own practice, Wholesome Revelation, in June of 2022. What started out as a mild practice, is evolving into a large disruption in the health care industry. Instead of sickness, pain, fatigue, and dysfunction, there is healing, prevention, longevity, and energy. I am proud to say I am now truly a part of a health care system, not a disease (or sick) care system.

about my practice

Wholesome Revelation was created to empower individuals to optimize their health-- through truly looking at the whole picture, and revealing any underlying causes for dysfunction. Through health optimization, we are restoring balance to the body for it to operate as God designed.

I have created four core values to emphasize in each individual’s plan for healing– these include:

Focusing on Foundations: an emphasis on the importance of true nourishment, optimal movement, serenity, and regulation to help bring healing to the whole body

Revealing Root Causes: a multi-faceted approach to gaining insight on the true reason behind your symptoms

Creating Consistency: capitalizing on foundational health in daily life, while prioritizing balance and finding joy in living

Strengthening Spirituality: exploring the connection between the mind, body, and spirit to allow for true healing and to find the true purpose of living a healthy life
